DL1000 Common Fuel Issue - Replace Internal Fuel Filter or add External Fuel Filter - Very common problem with all
DL1000 V-Strom bikes is for the internal fuel filter to start getting plugged. If you start to experience a flat spot,
surging and/or cutting out around 6,000 rpms then this points to the fuel filter and NOT a setting adjustment of any
aftermarket EFI controller. A quick fuel flow test can help you determine if this is your problem. A very common fix is
to implement an external fuel filter to bypass the very expensive internal fuel filter.
